Sconda Gets Hooked on Instagram: It’s Free and Fun

There’s a new, free iPhone app out there that will make you look at the world in a different way.

I know, I know, it’s not “new”, it came out to the public last October and now over 6 million people have taken over 100 million Instagrams.  However you know how long it takes for things to get from California to West Chester, Pa (apparently 9 months).

What is it?  As Instagram says, they are “a fun & quirky way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. Snap a photo, then choose a filter to transform the look and feel of the shot into a memory to keep around forever.”

Well, here in Scondaland (located within 19328, think San Marino, just not quite as cool) we thought this could be a really fun way to share all of the unique, beautiful, fun and random moments that go in and around our dealerships.  Yes, beautiful moments can happen at a dealership.

At Sconda Blog we’re proud to be among the first dealerships to put this photo sharing app to good use.   We’ve come out of the gates strong, with 42 photos and 36 followers, and you too can follow our “ScondaGrams” @ScondaBlog.

There are a ton of amazing people ( @joshjohnson @newyorkcity @tonydetroit  @digitalteacup ) and brands ( @southwestairlines @MTV @starbucks  @cnnireport and the only other dealership we’ve found @seacoastchevrolet ) that we like to follow, but you will find your own photographic styles, types and locations that you are drawn to.

What makes this app even more fun is its ability to connect and share photos and locations using Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Tumblr and more.  With 15 dynamic filters on this 5-star app even the most average photo can be transformed in to something spectacular, so join in the fun and start sharing some beautiful photos of your own*.

*Android users be patient, word has it that your Instagram app is in production
